Archives New Zealand Restructuring

ARANZ has significant concerns about the proposed restructuring of Archives New Zealand and is working on a number of fronts to raise awareness and secure a better outcome.

This section provides updates on our actions, access to documents produced by ARANZ and links to other useful websites.

We would also like to draw your attention to an article by Dr Julienne Molineaux in the latest issue of our journal, Archifacts. Part 1 of a two- part article, it is based on research carried out by Dr Molineaux on the last attempt to restructure Archives New Zealand, and provides interesting context for the current government’s proposal. Look out for Part 2 in the next issue of Archifacts.
