Current Council Vacancies
Kia ora koutou katoa,
ARANZ has several open portfolio positions on Council:
Treasurer - Manages all things financial for the Association, including managing accounts, liaising with the auditor and recommending changes.
Awards - Looks after our Michael Standish Prize and Ian Wards Prize. This involves managing nominations and presentations.
Comms - If you're a great communicator, this could be the role for you. Key tasks include: sharing updates with our members and the wider records community; liaising with other portfolios, and partners, to ensure updates are posted through the correct channels; managing communications between key groups in the lead-up to events.
Volunteers filling any of these roles will have full hand-over notes, one-on-one training time with current portfolio holders and the full support knowledgeable Council officers.
While the ARANZ AGM and official election of officers doesn't take place until later this year, this is a chance to join the ARANZ Council and make your mark on the Association. A portfolio on Council is a great way to expand your CV, meet like-minded Information Management professionals and collaborate with leaders in the GLAMiR sector.
