National Library Service Hours Update

Tēnā koutou,

As valued colleagues, I am pleased to inform you that National Library’s regular service hours will be soon back in place.

Due to the demolition phase of the two-level link bridge that connects the new archival building to the National Library, the Library has operated under reduced service hours since early November 2023.

While construction will continue throughout 2024, the demolition phase is nearly complete. From Tuesday 23 January, we will return to our normal operating hours of 9am-5pm on weekdays and 9am-1pm Saturday, with the reading rooms open 10am-5pm weekdays and 9am-1pm Saturday.
