The AGM will be preceded by a talk by Joshua Ng on exploring machine learning to automate record classification for appraisal.
Joshua Ng is a Digital Preservation Analyst at Archives New Zealand. His primary responsibility is to ensure that all the necessary processes are in place to maintain the integrity of the Government Digital Archive. His latest research interest is the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in digital archiving and digital preservation.
