Guide to Archival Repositories in the Manawatū-Whanganui Region 2021 

This is an updated version of the Guide to Manawatu Archival Repositories, which was published more than 10 years ago.

The Central Districts Branch covers a significant part of the North Island, so this guide takes in the whole Manawatū-Whanganui region. Guides for other regions that come under the Central Districts Branch will be created in the future.

This is an updated version of the Otago and Southland sections of the Directory of Archives in New Zealand, last revised and published in April 2015. 

The Archives and Records Association of New Zealand (ARANZ) Otago/Southland Branch Committee decided in 2014 that it would be helpful for institutions and researchers to have an up-to-date picture of the archival landscape in our region.
